Asalamu alikum,
Eid Mubarak to you, your family and your loved ones!

Zakatul-Fitr (Fitranah) is $15 per family member including children and even a baby in his mother’s womb. It is allowed to start giving it out two or three days before the end of Ramadan. The deadline to pay it is the morning of Eid before Eid prayer. If the deadline is missed, it will count as Sadaqah and not Zakatul-Fitr.

Zakatul-Fitr amends the shortcomings of fasting like, slandering, lying, slips of the tongue, looking at that which is forbidden etc.. so it is a great opportunity to amend your fasting and for the angels to take a complete fasting from you.

Eid prayer will be on Monday, May 2nd at the ISSR located at 533 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa CA 95401.

Eid prayer starts at 8:30 am
Takbeerat start at 7:30.

Please make sure you pay your Zakatul-Fitr (Fitranah) before The start of Eid prayer.

May Allah accept our good deeds and worship during the month of Ramadan and engulf us with His forgiveness.
