Sunday School Teacher for
Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Quran
We are excited to announce 2 job openings for paid teaching positions at the Sunday School at the Islamic Society of Sonoma County. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator who is committed to fostering a love for learning and instilling Islamic values in our students.

Employment Type: Part-time (Every Sunday during the Islamic School Year, 10AM–1PM)
Compensation: $400 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and Islamic teachings.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and growth.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the school community.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience in teaching – Quran recitation, Arabic, & Islamic Studies preferred.
- Strong understanding of Islamic principles and teachings.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to the development of young minds.
